About Us
Aeronautics is a UK based Corporate Aviation business that specialises in the Sale, Acquisition, Brokerage, Management and Operation of all types of turbine powered, fixed and rotary wing aircraft.
The company was established in 2007 and was brought together by its two founding directors, who between them offer over 35 years of experience and knowledge within the aviation industry. Our combined backgrounds have enabled us to build upon our strong ties and associations with aircraft manufacturers, fellow aviation businesses and our previous client base to allow us to create a new, all encompassing aviation organisation that can facilitate the growing demands of customers wishing to own and or operate corporate aircraft.
Aeronautics has grown rapidly and has recently expanded it’s Operational capabilities through the acquisition of a state of the art 27,000 sqft Hangar and office complex at Kemble Airport in the heart of the picturesque Cotswolds. The facilities at Kemble have become the hub of our activities and now allow us to offer hangarage and FBO handling services for all aircraft sizes up to and including the Gulfstream G550.
Kemble is becoming a viable and cost effective option for those owners and operators of corporate aircraft who are looking for an alternative location from the normal and more prominent airports that sit on the periphery of London. Kemble boasts a 6000 ft runway, new hangarage and they are currently in the final throws of getting approval for a GPS approach and runway resurfacing program. We are ideally accessed via road and rail with a main line station to London only 5 minutes from our door and both the M4 and M5 motorways within easy reach.
We currently oversee the management services of five aircraft and are actively looking to grow the fleet over the next 12 months. Our management services are tailored to suit the individual’s requirements and can include daily flight operations, engineering planning and oversight, crewing, authority liaison and general upkeep to name just a few. The company is well versed at remote operations and can accommodate client’s needs no matter where they maybe located around Europe.
A key element to the background and success of Aeronautics is our vast experience and capabilities with in the world of aircraft sales. We have become recognised as a leading organisation in the sale, acquisition and brokerage of most makes and models of executive aircraft and helicopters. One of our longest standing associations is with the Hawker Beechcraft aircraft manufacturing company and we were recently appointed as their UK Sales Representative for their entire line up of Commercial and Special Mission products which range from the entry level, piston powered Beechcraft G36 Bonanza through to the Hawker 4000 Super midsized jet.
Our sales capabilities further extend to cover the acquisition and brokerage of most types of corporate aircraft. We can represent owners wishing to sell their aircraft within the worldwide market or act on behalf of individuals or companies looking to acquire a new or pre owned product. By appointing a third party professional organisation such as Aeronautics then customers can maintain an arms length approach to the transaction whilst maximising our wealth of experience and contacts to ensure their best interest are protected at times.
For any client who may not yet have the demand or desire to purchase an entire aircraft then our Charter Brokerage division is on hand to assist in arranging and advising on the perfect solution to your travel plans. By simply advising us of your point of departure, destination, dates and the number of people travelling within your party then our staff will create and organise a bespoke travel schedule utilising the most appropriate, cost effective and comfortable aircraft or helicopter whether you are on business or heading off for a family holiday.
Although at present we have a limited fixed wing maintenance capability we can offer specialist advice and pre-purchase inspections for all turbine powered helicopters. Our Director of Technical Operations has over 30 years experience in both engineering and operations of military and commercial helicopters and is one the UK’s leading experts within this field.
We continue to look ahead with a positive outlook and have plans for steady growth and expansion over the coming years with our focus on expanding our operational capabilities through the establishment of an Air Operators Certificate and the possible setup of a JAR 145 maintenance facility, both of which will compliment our existing infrastructure and secure our position within the industry.
